- 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon himalayan salt
- pepper to taste
Steam the broccoli florets till tender
Mix 1/2 cup of the broccoli with the cream cheese, heavy whipping cream and 1/2 cup of the water in a blender until smooth.
Pour this mixture into a large saucepan. Mix in the chicken broth, the rest of the broccoli, and the rest of the water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
Once heated, add your cheddar cheese and mix until melted and completely blended.
Add salt and pepper.
